  • Please thoroughly go through all relevant information given on the event website and application form prior to submitting your application
  • If you have availed any early bird offer, refund/transfer and cancellation will not be entertained.
  • Applicants for 10K/5k must be the age of 14years as as on the date of Run
  • Applicants for 2K fun Run must be the age of 6years as as on the date of Run must be accompanied by a guardian/parent who is a participant under the same race category
  • Confirmation of applications received will be subject to Entry Rules & Guidelines given herein
  • Post close of registrations, email confirmations will be sent to all the confirmed participants who have given their valid email id in the application form.
  • On registration being successfully submitted, registrants will receive an email and SMS, confirming their registration with a unique booking ID
  • Runners will receive an email and SMS with their BIB number and other details closer to the race day.
  • Those wishing to confirm their registration status in the interim can send us an email to info@priderun.in
  • On the Race Day, Medal ceremony will be conducted for fastest 10K and 5K winners, both, for men & women. All age category winners will be announced on our website and on our Social Media platforms, three working days post the event. They will be provided with their Medals & prize money within 45 days from the finish of the event.
  • All participants will be eligible for the Finisher’s Medal post their run. Medals will not be posted to individual runners
  • All prize winners of the run (as given in the prize money structure in prize money tab) will receive Merit Certificates certifying their prize money winning positions.
  • e-certificates for the participants will be available for download from the event website within 2 weeks from race day.
  • All confirmed participants are required to come to Expo, (Date will be announced prior to race day) In order to collect their running number bibs. No Running Number will be posted to an individual’s mailing address nor distributed on race day.
  • It is mandatory for the participant to collect his/her running number bib personally from the Expo. In case of unavoidable circumstances, such runner can send his/her authorised representative to collect running number bib on his/her behalf. Authorised representative must carry with him/her:
    1. Soft Copy of Confirmation Email/SMS with BIB Number details.
    2. Soft Copy of Photo-identity proof (Aadhar card, PAN Card or passport) of the confirmed participant.
  • Note: Photo copy is not necessary, if participant personally presents.
  • I, the undersigned, hereby declare that I intend on participating in a sporting event necessitating substantial physical exertion.
  • I hereby declare that I am healthy and able to run in the event, and trained appropriately in advance.
  • I understand that my participation – in the event that I’m not amply physically ready – could endanger my health.
  • If you’ve suffered or if you suspect that you’ve suffered in the week leading up to the run from any illness whatsoever, including fever, gastrointestinal disturbance or a cold, consult with a doctor before participating and attain approval for the physical strain.
  • I hereby waive any claim against the event producer, “Pride Run” and any party acting on its behalf, in regard to any damage that may be caused, from physical damage before the Run, the Run itself or thereafter, including property damage and/or equipment loss.
  • I agree that the organizers will be authorized to make any and all decisions regarding cancellation or changing of the time of the Pride Run, its course, or all-out or partial cancellation in accordance with weather conditions anticipated before the run; whether or not they materialize, I waived all claims hence.
  • I, the undersigned, commit to not suing or making any tort claim against the aforementioned parties.
  • You are to participate only one category (10K/5K/2K) for which you had applied and for which your entry has been confirmed.
  • Your entry and running number is not transferable to any other person under any circumstance.
  • Runners found to have interchanged their running number with another individual, will be disqualified from the Event and shall not be allowed to apply or participate in the next edition of the Event.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify or exclude any person from competition who gives incorrect personal data/details on the entry form, who has been banned from competition under IAAF jurisdiction, or who is suspected of having taken banned substances. No refund of entry fee will be made.
  • No result or certificate will be given to runners of 10k/5K Run, who do not start their run at the respective start times of the race categories they have been confirmed in. Such runners will be disqualified from the event.
  • Please note if you don’t wear your timing bib number as instructed, you won’t be able to get an official finish time and thereby the official timing certificate recording your finish times. No bib number timing, no prize money.
  • No wheeled vehicles are allowed on the course. Anyone bringing wheeled vehicles will be disqualified from the race; you will be asked to leave the course.
  • Participants are not allowed to run with babies or children who are under aged for the designated category and unregistered runners.
  • In order to ensure the re-opening of roads to normal traffic by timings depending upon respective race category start times, the organizers will designate cut off times at specified locations. Runners failing to reach these specific locations within times specified must stick to the footpath in order to complete your race.
  • Only those confirmed participants wearing the current 2018 running number bibs will be allowed on the route. Any person found wearing the incorrect bib or no bib will be disqualified and removed by the course security.
  • Further, every runner must wear his/her running number bib on the front of the vest worn. Any mutilation, fold, alteration or damage to the bib will amount to disqualification of the runner from the Event.
  • Organizers reserve the right to stop any participant from participating who is found medically unfit to continue in the opinion of the medical personnel.
  • For security reasons, participants are requested to come without any baggage.
  • It is strongly recommended that you do not leave valuables like mobile phone, camera, jewellery, watch, electronic gadgets, etc. in the bag stored.
  • Organizers are not responsible for any loss of baggage and belongings.
  • The cash prize will be released by Chronic Foundation, as per the rules & guidelines.
  • Participants are requested to cooperate with the police and security personnel deputed at the event venue and on route. Participants/supporters are liable to random checking on race day – this is for your own security.
  • Minimum number of applicants for Category/event is 50. Event is subject to cancellation. If the number of applicants are less than the minimum limit.
  • REFUND POLICY : Refund for a cancelled event will be processed within 25-30 days through NEFT or Account Transfer.
  • Age limit: 6 years and above.
  • Please choose category carefully, confirmed registration are non-refundable, non transferable and cannot be modified.
  • Provide us correct mobile number, email address that you can assess regularly, as this will be our primary resources of contacting you during the run up to the event.
  • By registering you agree that running is an extreme sport and can be injurious to body and health. – You take full responsibility for participating in the Run and do not hold the organizers or organizing person or entities responsible of any injury or accident.
  • You also assume all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat or humidity, Rain, traffic and the condition of the road, arson or terrorist threats and all others risks associated with public event.
  • You agree that organizers or organizing person or entities responsible for organizing the run shall not be liable for any loss, damage, illness or injury that might occur as a result of participating in the event.
  • You confirm that, in the event of adverse weather conditions, major incidents or threats on the day, the organizers reserve the right to stop/ cancel/ postpone the Event.
  • You understand that confirmed registrations and merchandise order are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be modified. The organizers reserve the right to reject any application without providing reasons. Any amount collected from rejected applications alone will be refundable in full (excluding bank charges wherever applicable).
  • The organizer will contact participants only by email and mobile message. Any notice or message sent to the email or mobile number registered with the organizers shall be deemed as received by the participants.
  • Participants will not be allowed to stay on the course beyond cut-off time considering the safety and health issues.
  • Participation in the event is subject to entry confirmation. Where your entry is not confirmed for any reason, the application fees paid by you will be refunded. An amount of INR 100 will be deducted as processing charges. Any refund discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the Organizers immediately.
  • On the race day if any of the participants is found not wearing the running bib allotted to him/her, the participant registered for that bib will be disqualified from the race. If a participant is found to have interchanged their running number bib with another individual; he/she will be disqualified from the event.
  • Registration fee is non-refundable.
  • The prizes details are subject to change without any prior notice.
  • In the remote case of the run being cancelled due to reasons of State or Nature, beyond the control of the organizers, there will be no refund of the registration amount.
  • The participants have to confirm that their participation in the 10K Run is voluntary and at their own risk. Pride Run will not be liable for any physical injury or damage to property or consequential losses resulting directly or indirectly in relation to this event.
  • Photographs taken of runners during the registration and on race day may be used for the purpose of promoting the event.
  • No vehicles are allowed on the stage area or track, any participant bringing vehicles in these areas will be disqualified from the race.
  • Reporting / Assembly Time for all the race categories – 5 am.
  • Minimum number of applicants for Category/event is 50. Event is subject to cancellation. If the number of applicants are less than the minimum limit.

Please review the following questions before applying:

  • Has your doctor ever said that you have a heart condition and that you should only do physical activity recommended by a doctor?
  • Do you feel pain in your chest when you do physical activity?
  • In the past month, have you had chest pain when you were not doing physical activity?
  • Do you lose your balance because of dizziness or do you ever lose consciousness?
  • Do you have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in your physical activity?
  • Is your doctor currently prescribing drugs for your blood pressure or heart condition?
  • Are you pregnant?
  • Are you diabetic?
  • Do you know of any other reason why you should not do physical activity?
  • Do you have difficulty in breathing, especially in cold and dry weather conditions?

If you have answered YES to any of the above questions, we strongly recommend that you seek advice from your doctor before you apply to participate in the 10K Run . It is unfair to you and your family to risk serious illness and/or suffer a medical emergency on race day. Most medical emergencies during the race occur in people who have been unwell but do not want to miss the race.
